Turning Google Adsense PSA’s into cash. A simple and easy way to boost your income.

Adsense PSA Ad to Cash. So What is This About?

PSA’s, such as Google Adsense Public Service Ads, appear when regular ads are not available or have run out or it can be that there are no related ads to the pages content, or simply that Google’s media bot haven’t visited the page yet. You do not get paid for them.

No matter what, PSA’s costs you valuable ad space - period!

PSA’s Are Just Another Non-Paying Piece Of Free Advertisement. You know this, right? How about having thousands of PSA’s in a month, a week, or even a day? Imagine your ecpm rate, and do a math with it. There you go, the potential earning just gone with the PSA’s. It is wise to do something with it, or else you are burning your time and sweat with the sites development for free!

It really is that easy; in fact, advertisers such as Google try their best not to deliver PSA’s over paid advertising because it’s less money for us. Like me. Since my adsense ads disappeared on my indonesia content, i only get a third from usual earning. That’s really bad.

But, i was fix that problem. Thanks to Mr.Arif the owner of Kombor.com for his advice. I test it yesterday and it works. Now my other blog with indonesia content can display the ads. Not at all. I will change it soon.

Here are what is done by me. If your blog targeted or only support indonesia content, or your english blog only display adsense PSA, just add a little text on your adsense script.

Here are what i mean [ google_language = "en"; ]

Insert this little text above after google_ad_height line. I don’t know where is the truth, but some publisher place it after google_ad_client. I used too. Is it cheat? Nope. If this cheat, then thousand publishers get banned.

Besides that, you can create your own ads to be displayed in place of the PSA’s. For example, i add this

google_alternate_ad_url = “http://benbego.com/ads33617.html”;

after google_ad_client line. Do it if you’re not setting it before.

Implementation:

1. Copy your link ads. (http://example.com/ads336.html)
2. Login to your Google Adsense account.
3. Go to Adsense Setup > Adsense for Content as you always do.
4. When it comes to “Alternate ads or colors”, be sure to tick “Show non-Google ads from another URL” and enter the URL in Step #1 above, such as http://example.com/ads336.html
5. Now you need to copy the ads code and put it on your site as usual..
6. Whenever there is a turn for PSA, now Google will know what to do, that is to display your ads from your URL.

Personally, I don’t use this. It’s wasting time. Especially if you have a lot of webs or blogs.

The second alternative, you can change your adsense psa to display an paying ads or other pay per click contents. There are many ppc provider that support this adsense psa. One of them are oxado.com. They pay you a flat rate every month and in return, you display their ad rather than the PSA. This mean, when your adsense psa appear, the oxado ppc will replace the adsense psa ad.

Not only adsense ad, this oxado ad can work fully too. No need to wait PSA again. Uniquely, oxado usually display image ad like banner. You can check it in my right sidebar after recent comments. That is the banner from oxado.

Oxado pay per click (PPC) paid by paypal and moneybooker. If you want to register too, prepare your blog in english language. They will review your sites and then may be approve it. Register oxado here. Webmasters, make money displaying Oxado contextual ads!

Sure you can. If you will learn how many other people make money online with Adsense, I mean really study how and ask a lot of questions on marketing forums, there is no reason in the world you cannot make money with the Adsense program.

Before starting to develop this opportunity to make money online you need to understand some basic things about Adsense. I will outline some benefits and disadvantages about Adsense here.

Let’s start with the Adsense benefits:

You don’t have to pay a fee to use this program. You can apply for free.

You can join the Adsense program very easy. After you are accepted into the program you just have to paste a bit of code into your pages.

Because of their method to identify what a page is all about you don’t have to spend time finding advertisers, they will place on your page the exact advertisers you need.

If you own a really big network of sites, you don’t have to apply for each of them. Just apply once and use the same code on every site.

And many other benefits but let’s take a look at the disadvantages too:

The biggest disadvantage that most users report is that the stats Google supplies are inadequate. Even if they’re very easy to understand they don’t tell you which ads people are clicking on, or which keywords are involved. That’s very frustrating.

The minimum payout is $100, users that have sites which don’t receive much traffic say that it’s too high. If you plan on doing from adsense a successful business. don’t worry about this.

If you want to display adsense ads you may not display other text based ads on the same page with them. When you apply humans will check your site for approval, if you are rejected just try to understand why they did, fix it and appeal again.

You will never know how much from the amount that advertisers pay you will receive. You will just receive an unknown percentage from that amount.

With this benefits and disadvantages in mind you can now start to learn all the inside secrets of adsense and develop a real online business. You can start doing so by reading about it on major make money online forums, tring to understand all there’s about it many users discuss this topic very deep.

To know why Adsense is essential for your content sites is to know first how this works.

The concept is really simple, if you think about it. The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a certain website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script will pull advertisements from the Adsense program. The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to the content that is contained on the web page serving the ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying the search engine for the click.

The search engine is the one handling all the tracking and payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the hassle to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor the clicks and statistics which could be a time-consuming task in itself. It seems that there is never a shortage of advertisers in the program from which the search engine pulls the Adsense ads. Also webmasters are less concerned by the lack of information search engines are providing and are more focused in making cash from these search engines.

The first reason why Adsense is essential for content sites is because it already has come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters. Together with its continuous progression is the appearance of more advanced system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters are given the chance to choose from many different types of text ad formats to better complement their website and fit their webpage layout.

The different formatting enables the site owners the possibility of more click through from visitors who may or may not be aware of what they are clicking on. It can also appeal to the people visiting thus make them take that next step of looking up what it is all about. This way the people behind the Adsense will get their content read and making profit in the process.

The second reason is the ability of the Adsense publishers to track not only how their sites are progressing but also the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. The recent improvements in the search engines gives webmasters the capability to monitor how their ads are performing using customizable reports that has the capacity to detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters and publishers can now track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also easily spotted.

With the real-time reporting at hand, the effectiveness of the changes made will be assessed quickly. There would be time to sort out the contents that people are making the most clicks on. The ever-changing demands would be met while generating cash for the webmasters and publishers. The more flexible tools are also allowing webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, which will provide them some accurate insight on which pages, ads and domains are performing best.

The last and final reason is that the advertisers have realized the benefits associated having their ads served on targeted websites. Thus increasing the possibility that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product and services. All because of the content and its constant maintenance. As opposed to those who are no using Adsense in their sites, they are given the option of having other people do their content for them, giving them the benefit of having successful and money-generating web sites.

Adsense is all about targeted content, the more targeted your content is, the more target the search engines’ ads will be. There are some web masters and publishers who are focused more on their site contents and how best to maintain them rather than the cash that the ads will generate for them. This is the part where the effectiveness is working its best.

There was a time when people were not yet aware of the money to be achieved from advertisements. The cash generated only came into existence when the webmasters and publishers realized how they can make Adsense be that generator. In those days, the content were the most important factors that is taken quite seriously. It still is. With the allure of money, of course.

Google Adsense is perhaps the easiest way to attract advertisers from across the globe to your website. Just submit your website to Google for approval. If Google likes what it sees, it will place contextual ads linking to products likely to appeal to the readers. Each time a reader clicks a link, the advertiser pays Google a small fee, and Google splits that with you.

Now - How to Make Money with Google Adsense ? Here are The best Google Adsense tips for making more money (profit) from Google adsense program.

a. Strictly follow the rules mentioned in Adsense policies. You will always earn more revenue from Adsense by playing it clean.

b. Never modify the Google Adsense HTML code.

c. Don’t ask your friends or visitors to click on your Google ads. Do not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. Don’t label the Google ads with text other than “sponsored links” or “advertisements.”.

d. Don’t click on your own ads - Google is much smarter than you think. You should not reload your pages excessively. If you are testing your website layout with Google adsense, follow some precautions. Or you can use the unofficial Google Adsense Sandbox Tool that is accessible from Firefox, IE and other browsers to see what kind of Google ads will be served based on content (website address URL) or keywords.

e. Don’t place ads in pop-up windows, error pages or even empty pages.

f. Don’t start a “adsense asbestos” or “home equity loan rates” website merely to make money from accidental clicks (accidence). You will never make money out these “made-for-adsense-only” websites. Instead, write on topics what you are passionate about. Don’t waste your money on high-paying adsense keywords lists.

g. For short articles, CTR is best when ads are placed just above the content

h. For long articles, CTR improves if ads are placed somewhere in middle of the content - visitors read the long content and then they are looking for more resources.

i. Use Text Ads instead of Image Ads as users get more options. If you still want to display image ads, consider ad formats that support image ads
- Choose either the 300×250 medium rectangle or the 160×600 wide skyscraper
- or both, if you display multiple ad units on a page.

j. Google Ads without background color and borders always perform better. Make the border color and background color same as your page background color.

k. Always put ads above the main fold. Make sure that the ad unit with the highest clickthrough rate is the first instance of the ad code that appears in the HTML. Since the first ad unit is always filled before the rest, you want to make sure that ad unit is located in the best placement on your page.

l. Try setting the ad link URL color to a lighter shade. If your text is black, you may make the adlink as light gray.

m. Go Wide - The large rectangle is the best paying adsense format (336×280) - The Google Adsense Publisher team also feels that the best formats are the wider ones - the ad formats that contain the widest individual ads. Try using the 336×280 large rectangle, 300×250 medium rectangle, or 160×600 wide skyscraper.

n. Placing images next to ads or above ads does help in attracting user attention.

o. Blend AdLinks with other navigation links or place horizontal adlinks at the top of your webpage. AdSense publishers are permitted to click on link unit topics on their web pages, provided that they do not click on any Google ads on the resulting page.

p. Organize an Adsense Party for your friends and colleagues - Request them to navigate your website, watch their activity - it will provide vital clues about which regions on your website draw more user attention. Try putting ads near those areas. (Thanks Darren)

q. You can put upto 3 adsense units on a page. Try putting a large skyscraper on the right navigation sidebar of your website. That area is close to the browser scrollbar. You can also add 2 AdSense for search boxes, 1 adlink unit and 1 referral button per product (i.e., 1 AdSense referral button and 1 Firefox plus Google Toolbar referral button).

r. The first few lines of your content are an important factor for determining what Ads are served on your webpage. That’s the right place to put keywords in bold (strong or < b > tags) or header tags (h1, h2, etc).

s. Always select the setting to open Google Adsense search box results in a new browser window, so you won’t lose your visitors. Click the Open search results in a new browser window checkbox and this add target=”google_window” to your form tag.

t. Maximum people think the search box is on the top right corner. So you know where to put it.

u. Don’t syndicate full content. If people can read everything from the newsreader window itself, why would they visit your website where your ads are.

v. Use URL channels to determine performance of individual pages. I track my most popular pages with Google Analytics, Statcounter and create a channel for each of the URL. You can even track Adsense Clicks with Analytics

w. For low CTR pages, try changing titles or adding more content to get better focused ads

x. Block low paying advertisers with Filters. Why to loose a visitor for 0.01 cents. Use Overture or Google Adwords Keywords tool to discover keywords that are less popular with advertisers.

y. The AdSense for search Top Queries report shows you what your users are looking for, by listing the 25 most common searches conducted through your AdSense for search boxes. Use this report to identify additional topics to add to your site, or to keep track of your most sought-after information. Focus and improve that content.

z. Not everyone has a RSS reader. Use RSS to Email services like FeedBlitz, websitelet or Rmail to let users subscribe to your website by email.

I have been a blogger since September 2004 but only began to take it seriously this year. My blogging journey began when I stumbled upon a company owned by Google named Blogger.com that offered free tools to build a website.

In fact Blogger provides you with free several templates which you can customize in addition to a domain name hosted on their server. You can host your blog on your domain if you like to. Here are some benefits I found while blogging:

1) Easy to manage. A blog can be set up by even a novice in no time. All you have to do is post and publish. Blogging can get as simple as that or even more complex.

2) Easy to update. Blogs can be updated weekly or daily instead of sometimes monthly for a static website. Even adding a few paragraphs a day can be done in no time and can be beneficial to your search rankings.

3) Get spidered quickly. Search engine spiders crawl blogs with greater frequency than static webpages. I have had webpages that took over eight months to be indexed in Google where as Yahoo sometimes index my blogs in weeks sometimes days.

4) If you write articles then you can post all of them on your blog in addition to free reprint content that is widely available everwhere. The more content you have the better.

5) You can get your website indexed quicker. An article or a piece of news about your website with an optimize anchor link will send the spiders your way in no time.

6) Sell advertising space. If you have a popular blog then you can create a revenue stream by selling ad space. Blogads is one of several places where you can sell your ad space to major companies.

7) Similar to offering ad space, you can add Adsense to your blog to monetize your content. What I love about Blogger is that once you plug in the Adsense code into your main template, a new page is created and Adsense is automatically displayed when you make a post.

Review your affiliate products. If you have a blog that is in a niche then you can find affiliate programs for that niche and do reviews of them for a commission. Every time someone purchases the product or service through your link you make money.

9) It is still early to catch on. Blogs and RSS feeds are used by the minority of internet users which makes it excellent for you to start blogging right now. Less than 10% of the Americans which is the biggest online market use this emerging trend.

10) Can be syndicated. An easy way for your readers to stay in touch with updates is to add your blog to their My Yahoo and My MSN. They can see the latest information and how long ago it was added.

11) Yes a bonus! Savvy marketers know that if you add your blogs to My Yahoo you can have it indexed in no time by Yahoo. You can use these two websites to inform blog directories that you have updated your content.

a) http://WWW.Ping-o-matic.com

b) http://WWW.Rssfeedpromoter.com

So with all those benefits in mind there is no reason you should not start your own blog. So when do you decide to go blogging?

You’ve all seen the adverts. “Freelance writers wanted!” they scream from the pages of just about every freelance jobs site on the Internet. “Get paid to blog!”

To many people, this sounds like some kind of dream job. If you keep a blog yourself (and Google says that a few thousand of us do), then the chances are you’re currently blogging for free, either because you see blogging as a good opportunity to drive traffic to your website, convert traffic that’s already there into sales, or just because you feel you have something to say.

If this sounds like you, then of course you’re going to jump at the opportunity to get paid for something you’d do for free. Who wouldn’t? And if you’re a freelance writer looking for work, you’re probably going to jump at the opportunity to: you write, you make money. What could be simpler?

Well, the paid-to-blog business isn’t quite that simple, unfortunately. You see, you’re technically not being paid to blog. What you’re doing is blogging on someone else’s website, and being given a share of the Google Adsense profits your posts make - in most cases, 50% goes to you, the rest to the web page publisher.

Still sound good? It may well do. After all, on the Internet, content is king. There’s good money to be made from Google Adsense (the program whereby you displays Google adverts on your website and are paid every time someone clicks on them). Isn’t there?

Well yes, there is. But in order to make money from blogging on an Adsense site, you’re going to need to be able to do more than just write. First of all, you’re going to have to be able to identify a niche to write in. This can’t be just any old niche, either: it has to be one which you can churn out content on, day in, day out - and content which people will want to read.

You also have to know how to drive traffic to the content you create. On the paid-to-blog sites, some of the traffic is already there: but in order to make real money from this type of writing, you’ll need even more traffic than that. Where are you going to get it? What do you know about internet marketing? About driving traffic to websites? What do you know about search engine optimisation? You’ll need knowledge of all of these things if you want to make money from blogging - and even if you have that knowledge, you’ll still need the energy and enthusiasm to blog every day.

Say you have all of that. What can you make?

Theoretically, there’s no limit to what you make. There are people out there making a very nice living from blogs and adsense. There are even more people, though, who aren’t making a cent. Realistically, you’re much more likely to fall into that second group. So, is blogging for money a great freelance writing opportunity?

In a word, no. Blogging networks are great places for people who’d like to make a few dollars per month doing something they’d happily do for free anyway, or for people looking for a lively blogging community to join. They’re not for serious freelance writers who want to make a living wage from their writing.

Still want to make money from blogging? Find a corporate giant who needs someone to maintain their blog - and is willing to pay for it. Save the paid-to-blog network for your free time.

Amber McNaught is the owner of WritingWorld.org, a site which aims to help freelance writers find freelance writing jobs

If you are interested in Blogging for cash Adsense placement is very important. You need to quickly learn where to place the ad units to ensure that you get the maximum number of clicks that you can possibly get with the traffic that you have. In terms of earning money with AdSense, Blogging for Cash AdSense Placement is vital!

There are many techniques that have been tested by top marketers, website owners, and bloggers since blogs and AdSense have come into existence. What they have found is that what works for one site or blog does not necessarily work for another site or blog but certain principles, if followed, can significantly increase the number of clicks you will receive. This ultimately determines how much money you make with Google AdSense.

First, lets dispel any myths about the placement of AdSense ad units. There is no one particular place that works better than all other places on all webpages for ad units. Some people will tell you to use Skyscrapers on the right hand side of the page. Others will tell you to use Skyscrapers on the left hand side. Still others will tell you to use the rectangular boxes at the top of the page. This is what works for THEIR sites, but it will not necessarily work for yours.

Where your ads are placed is largely determined by what your visitors are doing, and where their attention is focused on each of your pages. If your visitors attention will be focused on the right hand side of the page, then by all means use the skyscrapers on the right hand side of the pages. But if their attention is focused on the content of your blog posts, you might do better by copying and pasting the AdSense code into the middle of each post you make.

Look at your blog from a visitors point of view. Where is their attention? Have a friend or family member look at the page as well. Ask them what they see first. Ask them what part of the page without any AdSense ads on it they were most interested in. Find out what drew their attention and why.

In most cases, you do not want to get in your visitors way. However, if you are hoping to earn AdSense revenue, you need to get directly in their path in order to get your ads noticed and clicked on. This is why so many people opt to put their AdSense code directly in their entries. When it comes to blogs that is usually where a visitors attention is focused on the entries. Try putting the AdSense code directly in the middle of each post, using one of the rectangular boxes. Just make sure that you tell your visitors that the post is continued below.

Be careful. You must follow Googles terms of service for placement of AdSense ad code. If you break the rules, Google can ban you. It is important to know that Google only allows you to have two ad units per page. If you will be using your AdSense code within the text of each post, make sure that your blog does not display more than the Google AdSense ad placement limits - if you break their rules, theyll ban you! Otherwise, have fun blogging and making money!
